About The Workshop

About The Workshop

Please note: Originally this class was 6 weeks. Now it is 6 months, giving everyone time to work on their paintings before our monthly Zoom calls.  So, if the video says "weekly"....it now means monthly!!!

Lets Talk About This Workshop  Big Bold and Brave

 - Big is not just about creating big paintings.  You can work big or small.  I will be working mostly with Big paintings unless a certain style or technique warrants a smaller canvas to film it better for you.

 - Bold is about You as an artist.  It doesn't mean we will be be painting bold loud colorful paintings...although I will be doing some of that.  I'll also be creating quiet but powerful paintings. It's about your mental and technical expertise as an artist.  I want to inspire. motivate and help you feel more confident in your art journey.

 - Brave is learning to make those confident choices as an artist.  Learning how to deal with the inner critic.  Learning how to get yourself out their in the art world.

 - Most of all I want you to Create Better Art that's more meaningful to you.

 - I will be working primarily with Abstract and Semi-Abstract paintings on a wide variety of substrates and lots of Techniques.

 - Most all of the Lessons and techniques  can easily be applied to all styles of artwork

 - There will be a ton of recorded videos.  And you have forever access to them. During our 6 weeks together I'll be holding a weekly Live session through Zoom.  I'll be answering questions and critiquing some of your creations. Don't let the word critiquing scare you.  I prefer to call them lovetiques. We'll talk about what's working in the painting, and what might have been giving you some trouble. We'll talk about solutions and what your strengths are. Obviously, I won't be able to get to everyone in the class, but I'll try to pick different artist's work each week. We can all learn from these lovetiques, even if it isn't your painting.  These Live sessions are recorded, so if you can't make it, you'll be able to watch it later.

 - There's a ton of information in terms of techniques, coaching and mentoring and art business advice.  This is like my Masterclass of them all.  I'm super proud of putting this one together for you guys.
