Objective: Using transparent paint layers to build depth and luminosity from a previous painting, and finishing with opaques and dimensional details

Suggested Supplies (Please use what you have on hand or make substitutes)

Old painting or unfinished painting on canvas or wood

Not required but fun to use: Sandpaper or even better a power sander

Liquid watercolors - these can be found in classroom supplies or kid's art supply sections. A good brand is Blick Liquid Watercolors or you could substitute acrylic ink

Water Mister

Airbrush Medium (I like Liquitex or Golden) You could also substitute Golden GAC100 or Gloss Medium watered down

Fluid Acrylic - this is watered down. You could use Golden Fluid, Golden High Flow, Acrylic Ink, Blick Liquid Acrylic, or even tube acrylics that have been watered down

Tube Acrylics or heavier body acrylic

Golden GAC 100  - a good all around medium to have. Substitutes would be a Gloss Medium from another brand

Glitter but you could use sand, beads, or anything that you would like to use to create dimension.
